An exquisite solid silver pearl & opal stone Art Nouveau style necklace.  This beautiful piece has wonderful detail. The pendant is in the form of an Art Nouveau lady. The lady has plique a jour enamel and opal stone detail. There is a Pearl droplet suspended at the bottom. The pendant is hallmarked '925' on the back. This necklace weighs 19.5grams. This would make a classic addition to an outfit.

The enamel has no backing so the light can come through like a stained glass window. The plique a jour enamel technique reminds us of a beautiful mosaic made of glass. This specially formulated plique a jour enamel glass was used to create jewellery, stained glass windows, lamps and objects art.
