A splendid silverplated Oriental trinket dish. This elegant lidded trinket features an intricate high relief motif in the metal including an Oriental high ranking gentleman in uniform and Chinese lettering to the reverse. We are not sure which the original intended use for this trinket would have been but it is a splendid looking piece. This trinket could be used to store special items such as coins or small items of jewelery.
