A breath taking Amethyst & Pearl Brooch in the form of a Bug. This stunning Bug brooch is adorned with a large Pear shaped purple Amethyst stone & a milky colored pearl. The Bug's wings are composed of Plique a Jour enamel; It is so beautiful when it catches the light we do hope the photos do this amazing brooch justice. The Pin is also adorned with marcasite stones which finishes this piece beautifully.  The brooch has a secure pin at the back which fastens with a roll over clasp.  This brooch can also be worn as a pendant so you are spoilt for choice! This brooch weighs 9.4grams. The back of the brooch is hallmarked "925".  A unique plique a jour enamel &  genuine amethyst Bug brooch!
