This is a very impressive gilded ormolu gold colored Mantel clock with high relief cherub detail. The clock has beautiful painted porcelain panels featuring putti cherubs and idyllic country scenes. This clock is very heavy and substantial. This would make a welcome addition to any home interior. The back panel is composed of glass where you can view the works of the clock, in order to access the clock interior the glass panel slides up from the top. Condition: This piece is offered in very good condition. The clock seems to be working and ticking nicely when wound up but has not been tested to see if it does keep perfect time. Please review all photos carefully.
