German Bisque Porcelain Japanese Nodding Head Articulated Figurine

This is a beautiful German bisque porcelain ornament in the shape of an elderly Oriental gentleman with two ladies seated either side of him. They are all sitting with crossed legs and are holding a large fan behind their head. Intricately textured clothing with beading and abundant gold accents. Elaborate hair styles. Hand painted in pastel colors.

The nodding heads are supported by a metal pin. They have porcelain counterweights connected to the heads by wooden dowels. They nod freely from side to side. There is no manufacturer's marks.
