A charming Victorian style silver whistle and vinaigrette combination, crafted with exquisite attention to detail. The tapered body is beautifully chased and embossed with scrolling foliate motifs and flower heads, so beautiful and ornate. The hinged lid opens to reveal a richly gilded interior with a delicate pull-out pierced grille, once used to hold aromatic herbs or sponges soaked in scent.

Both decorative and functional — a true collector’s piece and a wonderful addition to any silver collection.
