Kempton Antiques Market

Kempton Antiques market also known as Sunbury Antiques Fair is based at the lovely Kempton Park Race Course. The market has been running for over 30 years and is well worth a visit. It is on every other Tuesday with free Parking and admission.

There are hundreds of stalls to browse both indoors and outside. I really look forward to going to every fair as you never know what weird and wonderful goods you will find and who you might meet (I can tell you there are quite some characters). Kempton has an array of goods on offer including furniture, jewellery, vintage clothing, Fine wines, paintings, fine art, ceramics, kitchen ware, books and so much more!  The market attracts antique dealers, collectors, tourists, interior designers and even prop buyers.  What is so great about Kempton is you can spend hours getting lost amongst the bric a brac and you really can bag yourself a bargain. If you want to make a day of it you have Hampton Court Palace only 3 miles down the road and there are some wonderful side street antique shops and Cafes to be found nearby.

If you are serious about finding something special at Kempton Market you need to get there early (it opens at 6.30am) If you are going there in the winter months and are planning on arriving early remember to bring yourself a torch! Another must is to bring cash with you as most of the stall holders do not take cards.
